This combined replacement cartridge and maintenance kit is designed to keep your MSR TrailShot or Trail Base water filter performing at its peak . The kit includes a new 0.2-micron hollow fiber filter cartridge that restores flow rates and extends the life of your filter . Replacing the cartridge is a simple process that brings the filter back to full performance .

The hollow fiber membrane effectively removes bacteria, protozoa (such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium), and particulate matter from water sources . Each replacement cartridge has a capacity of up to 2,000 liters, depending on the water conditions you are filtering . The kit also contains the small components, such as O-rings and caps, plus the instructions necessary for complete servicing .
