The LARQ Filter Straw Replacement is the high-performance Nano Zero filter element designed for the LARQ Filter Straw system, compatible with LARQ Bottle Flip Top and Swig Top lids . This replacement filter uses advanced Nano Zero technology to reduce lead, chlorine, PFAS (PFOA/PFOS), heavy metals, mercury, cadmium, and particulates, while improving taste for a smooth finish . The filter is tested to NSF/ANSI 42, 53 & 401 standards and provides a low-pressure drinking experience . Depending on usage, each filter should be replaced every 40 gallons (151 liters) or approximately 2 months of use, effectively replacing up to 300 single-use plastic bottles . Note that the LARQ Bottle Filtered system uses an Essential Bottle Filter which lasts 25 gallons/94 liters, while the Advanced Bottle Filter lasts 40 gallons/151 liters . The filter is designed for use with cold or room-temperature tap water and should not be used with microbiologically unsafe water unless properly disinfected beforehand.
